Manna Junior Secondary School
We recognize the importance of good health in a child's academic success. Our program providesnutritious meals to support the overall well-being of our students. We currently have more than 50 students at the school situated in Kisumu. We provide breakfast and lunch every weekday. Majority of the kids are from vulnerable backgrounds comprising of orphans and very poor families who cannot afford to purchase regular meals for their kids. In this program it costs $500 to feed the students for one month.
Widows Monthly Feeding (All For His Glory)
ur program focuses on addressing the immediate need for sustenance for widows by offering regular access to meals. We organize monthly food distribution events where widows come and collect essential food items, including cereals, flours, cooking oil and non-perishable goods. We work with more than 350 widows in Kisumu who we support in many ways including providing monthly food shopping. Most of the widows are elderly and neglected. They struggle to fend for themselves and their grandkids. It costs $20 to support 1 widow for 1 month’s food supplies
Fashion School
In our fashion, design and tailoring program we empower each trainee with a sewing machine during graduation to help them start off their businesses. Every year, 70 girls graduate from our fashion training program.It costs $200 for 1 Sewing Machine for 1 girl
SPONSOR
Over the years we have supported hundreds of students to join Secondary School and Colleges through our sponsorship program that caters for tuition fees, uniform, books and all necessary costs for a student. This has helped to offer a second chance to life to these students coming frompoor families. Those who’ve completed college are now doing well with decent jobs.It costs $1080 to support 1 student for 1 year’s tuition, books, transport, shopping and all necessitiesSponsorship is more than just financial support. You can also build a lasting relationship with your sponsored child to encourage and uplift them as they complete their education. Exchange letters with your sponsored child to learn about their family life, hopes and dreams, and faith journey.
Orphanages
We also support various orphanages and children homes with food supplies from time to time. You can make a contribution of any amount.
SHELTER
We assist widows in securing transitional housing, enabling them to establish stability as they navigate the challenges of rebuilding their lives. To date, we have built more than 500 shelters for vulnerable widows.Their previous houses are usually in very bad shape e.g collapsed roofs, broken walls, or leaking roofs. We also provide a set of new bed, mattress and beddings and other household good such assolar lamps and water tanks. It costs $850 to put up one shelter and $150 to purchase beddings set
EMPOWER
We provide comprehensive training in (a)Fashion, Design and Tailoring Skills and (b)Computer Literacy Skills, equipping participants with invaluable skills, fostering independence and offering a pathway to a brighter future. Through this program, vulnerable youth who once faced limited opportunities now stand as self-reliant entrepreneurs, contributing to their families’ income and breaking free from cycles of poverty.
PROPAGATE
Propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ is the heart of what we do. We collaborate with churches and Christian leaders from Africa and the international community in spreading the gospel and converting new believers. We also train pastors in biblical courses to sharpen their knowledge in the Kingdom of God. Through our bible outreach program, we donate bibles to churches and new believers. To date we have donated thousands of bible copies across East Africa. Computer School
Our computer program helps young people acquire technological skills that gives them an added advantage in the workplace. We need support in purchasing new computers and supplies to keepthe program running efficiently.
